1. Overview of Haynes 242 nickel-based alloy:
Haynes242 nickel-based alloy is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, cobalt and other elements, with a nickel content of about 60%.
Haynes242 nickel-based alloy, also known as aging reinforcement alloy, still has excellent strength to 705℃ (1300°F). The thermal expansion rate is low, and it still has good oxidation resistance to 815℃ and has excellent processability. It has excellent resistance to high temperature fluorine environments. Used for gas turbine sealing ring, control structure and high-temperature fasteners. It is also used in the production of fluoropolymer plastics, chemical and petrochemical applications.
